IBAN

Mexico does not use IBANs. Accounts are identified by the fields above.

Currency

Every account also records its currency. The form opens on MXN, the currency of Mexico, and the supplier changes it for an account held in another currency.

Where these rules come from

Oracle Fusion Cash Management 26c MX validations; Banxico CLABE spec. The CLABE is required and the account number is not: the CLABE contains the bank, the branch and the account, and is what Mexican suppliers quote.
